My husband and I grew up in Alvin, Texas, Brazoria County. I was born in Houston and he was born in Alvin. After many years living overseas in Venezuela, Peru and Spain, we now live and work as retirees in Marfa, Texas. We are still healthy and happy in far west, Texas but know that someday we and our kids will have to decide what to do with elderly parents.
